We are so excited to get started with you! Right now, we are offering our inaugural 6 week Summer Professional Development series, a live, cohort based experience open to all teachers who are ready to invest in their craft, their teacher identity, and their school community!

Welcome to our offerings!

Join us for our summer learning series!

Invest in the educator you are becoming. Over six weeks we will explore the history of the teaching profession, sharpen your planning and data practices, and build the classroom engagement and restorative culture skills that make a lasting difference for your students. Whether you are stepping into your first classroom or looking to deepen your practice, this series was designed for you; live, collaborative, and built around what teachers actually need.

  • Teaching is not just a job — it is a practice rooted in history, identity, and purpose. In the first two weeks of our series, educators will take a deep dive into the history of American schooling, examining how educational systems were built, who they were built for, and what that means for the teachers working within them today. Through critical reflection and guided dialogue, participants will develop a stronger, more grounded sense of their own teacher identity — understanding not just what they teach, but why they teach and how their presence in the classroom matters. This is the foundation every educator needs before they can truly lead.

  • Great teaching doesn't happen by accident — it happens by design. In weeks three and four, educators will learn how to break down state standards into clear, actionable learning goals and translate them into lesson plans that are both rigorous and accessible. But planning doesn't stop at delivery. Participants will also explore how to collect and use classroom data to inform their instruction, adjust in real time, and ensure every student is moving forward. Whether you are a first-year teacher trying to figure out where to start or a veteran educator looking to sharpen your practice, this module will leave you confident, organized, and ready to teach with intention.

  • A well-planned lesson means nothing if students are not engaged — and discipline without relationship is just control. In the final two weeks of the series, educators will explore research-backed engagement strategies designed to capture student attention, build genuine participation, and create a classroom culture where learning thrives. Participants will also be introduced to restorative practices as a framework for addressing conflict, building community, and moving away from punitive discipline models that disproportionately harm students of color. You will leave with practical tools you can implement from day one — and a vision for the kind of classroom community you actually want to build.

Teaching Teachers LLC is proud to partner with Teach Plus Michigan and Boldly Moving Education Ahead (BMEA), as approved Michigan Department of Education SCECH sponsors, to offer State Continuing Education Clock Hours to Michigan teacher participants. Upon successful completion of all six sessions participants will earn 9 SCECHs toward Michigan teacher certificate renewal. Clock hours are submitted directly into the Michigan Online Educator Certification System (MOECS) on your behalf — you do not have to do anything extra. Just show up, engage, and grow.

District Partnerships

Teacher attrition is not a recruitment problem, we look at it as a development problem. When teachers feel unseen, underprepared, and disconnected from the communities they serve, they leave. Teaching Teachers LLC partners directly with schools and districts to address the root causes of that attrition by cultivating teachers who are grounded in their professional identity, skilled in their instructional practice, and deeply connected to the students and communities in front of them. Our work is not a one-day workshop. It is a sustained, framework-driven professional learning partnership designed to produce the kind of teachers who stay in your building, lead your instructional culture, and change outcomes for students long after the program ends.

Whether you are a principal looking to develop your staff as a cohesive instructional team or a superintendent ready to build a district-wide culture of teacher excellence, Teaching Teachers LLC has a partnership model designed for your context and your goals. Every offering we bring to your school or district is grounded in original scholarship, aligned to Michigan certification needs, and built around one non-negotiable outcome, teachers who are ready, rooted, and retained.
